The students and staff members here at Sheshatshiu Innu School value and respect our Innu heritage. Our Innu Vice-Principal, Mr. Eugene Hart, has been given the task of helping to ensure our Innu heritage assumes a higher profile within our school.

Through Mr. Hart’s efforts, our school has begun to invite Innu Elders into our classrooms. These Elders are invited to share their stories and wisdom with our students on a regular basis. Please take a look at our website for more information and examples of visits that have happened so far.
